Mrs. Ruth Hancock age 93 of Marietta, passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2015. Graveside services will be held 2 PM Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery in Sandy Springs with Rev. Joey Hatchell officiating. Mrs. Hancock was employed with Cobb County School Systems as a Dietician before retirement in 1989. She was preceded in death by her husband Hubert Hancock and son Gary Hancock. Surviving are: Son-David Hancock of Woodstock, Daughter-Nancy Hancock of Marietta, Brother-Gene Adams of Woodstock, 3 Grandchildren-Jennifer Hancock Barden, Adam Hancock, Jessica Hancock Barta, 5 Great Grandchildren-Ellis Ruth Barden, Wyatt Barden, Kendall Hancock, Jaxon Barta, Zeke Barta, and several nieces and nephews.
