Marietta Square to Host New Year's Celebrations
The last evening of 2015 will be capped off by a 'ball' drop in the heart of Marietta Square.

MARIETTA, GA -- Marietta residents can celebrate the coming of 2016 in style during the first-ever new year’s celebrations on Marietta Square,.
The square will come alive with music, food, football, and more starting at 8 p.m. and going well into the new year, according to the Marietta Daily Journal. A ball drop will ring in the new year in the heart of the square, though the final location has yet to be determined.
Football fans won’t have to worry about missing bowl games, as a 20 foot tall television will be installed in the square, the MDJ says.

Families can join in the fun between 2 and 7 p.m. and take part in a special ball drop for the kids at 7 p.m., according to the MDJ.
