Mother's Day 2017: Events Around Metro Atlanta

ATLANTA, GA -- Mother's Day, unlike any other holiday, can be a very curated experience. You can't just take mom to Six Flags and watch her spin around in the big tea cups -- no, this is going to take some thought to come up with activities that are tailored to your particular mother. In most cases, that means your favorite beer fest is probably (I stress probably) not a good idea.
Metro Atlanta has a slew of events this weekend that could make your mother a very happy lady. If the weather holds up, some outdoors activities could include cookouts, arts and crafts bazaars and park events. If it rains, there will be several indoor events to take advantage of as well.
