Online Fundraiser Set Up For Double Shooting Survivor
Gordon Montcalm was one of two men allegedly shot by a disgruntled East Cobb homeowner last week. One of the men has died.
MARIETTA, GA -- A GoFundMe has been launched for the survivor of last week's East Cobb double shooting, which has already claimed the life of the other victim. Gordon Montcalm, 38, and Jake Allen Horne, 21, were allegedly shot by Larry Epstein, 68, after what police said was a home remodeling dispute. Montcalm and Horne were both shot while they were preparing to leave Epstein's home this past Wednesday.
A GoFundMe account has already been established to cover the funeral expenses of Horne, who died late last week from his injuries. Montcalm is still recovering, and Epstein remains in jail without bond in Cobb County.
Montcalm's GoFundMe said he was shot five times: once in the face, once in the chest, twice in the arm and once in the back, and that he will be out of work indefinitely with a wife and daughter to support.

Horne's GoFundMe describes him as a "kind, smart, caring, loving person. In the last few years he had dark moments like losing both his parents, but he also lived his life to the fullest. He was always happy and smiling, and cracking jokes. He's leaving behind his baby sister, but he'll be with his family and parents who have passed on as well."
