Pickup Truck Hits SUV In East Cobb, Kills Woodstock Woman
A 76-year-old Woodstock woman died of her injuries after her SUV was struck by a pickup truck as she turned left onto Roswell Road.
EAST COBB, GA — A Woodstock woman died Saturday after her SUV was hit by a pickup truck on Roswell Road.
Kathleen Parodi, 76, was turning her Lincoln Nautilus left from Willeo Rill Road onto Roswell Road when she was struck by a Ford F-150. The impact sent both vehicles spinning, a Cobb County Police spokesperson told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Emergency crews that arrived just before 11 a.m. found Parodi’s SUV on the raised median and the pickup truck on the road’s shoulder. Parodi died of her injuries at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital.

Cobb County police have not said whether the unnamed driver of the pickup will face charges.
