Rising Phoenix Toastmasters hosts an open house

(MARIETTA, Ga.) — To celebrate their new location and another year as a distinguished club, Rising Phoenix Toastmasters invites the public to its open house to meet members and learn about the club. Rising Phoenix Toastmasters’ open house is 10-11:30 a.m. on Aug. 11 at 3010 Johnson Ferry Road, Marietta, Ga. 30062 in the Northeast Cobb YMCA Meeting Room.

“Rising Phoenix Toastmasters is a speaking club that provides a supportive and positive environment where members have the opportunity to develop not just their communication skills, but also their leadership skills,” said Rising Phoenix VP of Education, Marcia Williams. “We are thrilled to hold our meeting in the YMCA and we are looking forward to meeting the surrounding community to demonstrate how we can be an asset to them.”

Attendees will receive an overview of the speaking club’s program (Pathways), and get an insight on a Toastmasters meeting which includes prepared speeches, Table Topics™ (impromptu speeches), and evaluations.

“This has been a fantastic year for Rising Phoenix,” said Brad Singleton, Rising Phoenix VP of membership, “and our members couldn’t be happier with our new meeting location. The meeting room is top notch, and the building is conveniently located for East Cobb community members.”
