'Sally and Glen at the Palace' Opens June 12
Young Love and Film Trivia at Out of Box Theatre

Staff Report
The charming coming-of-age drama Sally and Glen at the Palace closes out Out of Box’s third season. Set in the box office of an art house theater in the early ‘70s, it is about two coworkers who grow close between selling and tearing tickets.
Written by Essential Theatre artistic director Peter Hardy, Sally and Glen at the Palace looks at friendship, yearning and fumbled attempts at love. Glen, played by Chaz Duffy, is a film nerd who dreams of becoming an Oscar-winning director. Sally, played by Ashley Anderson, is a sexually naïve college kid from a small town. Between features, Glen educates Sally on Hollywood, Luis Bunuel, Woody Allen and more with his endless film knowledge. But Sally and Glengoes beyond that. It is about a relationship that gets under the skin and won’t go away. It’s about living with all the things you wish you’d said — but didn’t.
