Thanksgiving Week Car Break-Ins in East Cobb
At least nine reports were made in Precinct 4, including several in business parking lots.
The following incident reports are summarized from reports taken between Nov. 25 and Dec. 1 by officers in Cobb Police Precinct 4, which covers the East Cobb area.
According to precinct data, the number of car break-ins in October dropped to 37 from 43 in September.Â
November numbers are still to be compiled, but a total of nine break-ins ended the month, as indicated below.Â

Monday, Nov. 25
A car break-in was reported in the 1700 block of Collingwood Drive.ÂA non-residential burglary was reported in the 2000 block of Lower Roswell Road (Citgo station).
An attempted burglary was reported in the 3400 block of Bryant Lane.Â
Criminal property damage was reported in the 3300 block of Canton Road (Blackwell Square Shopping Center).
A car break-in was reported in the 2700 block of Terrell Trace Drive.
A car break-in was reported in the 2000 block of Lower Roswell Road.Â
A car break-in was reported in the 600 block of Woodlawn Drive (Mt. Bethel UMC Day Care Center).
A non-residential burglary was reported in the 4100 block of Roswell Road (Providence Square Shopping Center).
Tuesday, Nov. 26
A car break-in was reported in the 3100 block of Johnson Ferry Road (IHOP).A car break-in was reported in the 4900 block of Alabama Road (Indian Creek Shopping Center).
A residential burglary was reported in the 3400 block of Rivers Call Blvd.
A car break-in was reported in the 1000 block of East Piedmont Road (East Cobb YMCA).
A car break-in was reported in the 1000 block of Woodlawn Drive (Montrose Animal Hospital).
Wednesday, Nov. 27
Criminal property damage was reported in the 1100 block of Fielding Way.ÂA residential burglary was reported in the 1600 block of Roswell Road (Bellingham Apartments).
A residential burglary was reported in the 4300 block of Nassau Way.
Thursday, Nov. 28
Criminal property damage was reported in the 2700 block of Roswell Road.ÂFriday, Nov. 29
A residential burglary was reported in the 3400 block of Ellenwood Park Drive.Saturday, Nov. 30
