Volunteer to keep a child from going hungry this Thanksgiving
The East Cobb YMCAs will collect food items and gather volunteers to feed children who will likely not have food during Thanksgiving break

MARIETTA β Thanksgiving break is meant to be a special time for families to celebrate the holidays, but for many children in Cobb, a break in school means a break in having food. The McCleskey and East-Cobb Family YMCAs are in need of volunteers to deliver and serve lunches to over 300 of Cobb's kids in need.
The YMCA is in need of awesome volunteers to help make and deliver lunches for 100 kids who are at risk of going without the meal they would receive when school is in session. The Y is also in need of the lunch items to make this happen!

The Y is asking volunteers to arrive at the Northeast Cobb YMCA (3010 Johnson Ferry Rd. Marietta, GA 30062) at 11:00 a.m. Volunteers will help make and pack lunches. Transportation will be provided to the distribution sites and volunteers will return to the Y around 1:00 p.m. This is a great way to gain work experience, community service hours, or simply give back to the community.

Together we can fill these deserving children's tummies! Donations are accepted at the East Cobb YMCAs. To sign up to volunteer, visit https://www.signupgenius.com/g...
