What's Open and Closed in Marietta, East Cobb on Thanksgiving

Today is the last day this week you can handle any affairs with city and county government entities due to the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday.

City of Marietta and Cobb County offices will close on Thursday, Nov. 26 and Friday, Nov. 27 to observe the holiday, though public safety personnel will still be on the job.

Marietta residents whose trash day is Monday or Thursday will need to have their garbage ready on Monday. Residents whose trash day is Tuesday and Friday will need to have their garbage ready on Tuesday. All Roll Cart customers will be serviced on Tuesday. Yard waste will be collected on Wednesday.

If you live outside city limits, you will have to contact your sanitation provider for information on this week’s sanitation schedule.
