March Gwinnett County School Board Meeting

The Gwinnett County Board of Education will hold its monthly business meeting on March 21, 2013.

The meeting takes place at 7 p.m. at the Instructional Support Center, 437 Old Peachtree Road in Suwanee.

Prior to the monthly meeting there will be a work session a 2 p.m., a meeting with the Teachers' Advisory Council at 3 p.m., a continued work session at 4:30 p.m., and a public comment period at 6 p.m.

The school board will go into executive session if needed.

Among the items being presented are:

• Recognition of AP Honor schools
• A bid for the new high school in the Berkmar and Central clusters, estimated to cost $63.5 million
• Dexter Farms extension for providing fresh fruit and vegetables to the district
