More Than 100 Schools in Gwinnett County Readers Rally

The eighth annual Gwinnett County Readers Rally competition will occur on Saturday, March 16, with more than 100 schools participating in the county’s largest reading event.

Sixty elementary schools, 26 middle schools, and 15 high schools will converge at Berkmar High School to compete against other schools at their level. Semifinalists will move on to vie for the championship titles on March 21 at the Gwinnett County Public Schools Instructional Support Center (ISC) in Suwanee.

High school students read from the 20 Georgia Peach Award books; middle school students read from the 20 Georgia Book Award books; and fourth- and fifth-graders read from a hand-selected list of 15 books compiled by the Readers Rally Committee for the elementary schools.
