Back to School: Staples for Students School Supply Drive Helping Local Youth
Staples, the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and teen actor Jake T. Austin are teaming up for a nationwide school supply drive, and you can help.

Boys & Girls Clubs of America and Staples are teaming up to provide back-to-school items for students in need living in metro Atlanta.
As part of the sixth annual Staples for Students national school supply drive, customers may donate $1 or more to any local store. The campaign extends now through September 28, according to a press release.
In addition, community members may drop off school supplies at a Staples from August 11-17. All local donations -- monetary and in-kind -- will benefit metro Atlanta students. Staples will donate $125,000 worth of school supplies to the program nationwide.
Teens are encouraged to help boost local dollars via social media and to donate supplies. New this year: Staples for Students is partnering with Jake T. Austin to do just that. (He's best known for his role as 'Max Russo' on the Disney Channel's "Wizards of Waverly Place,")
On the Staples for Students Facebook page, Jake will take followers through interactive activities to increase donations. Teens will be rewarded with donations on their behalf, among other things.
"I can’t imagine starting school without the right supplies," Jake said in a press release, "so I’m rallying fellow teens to help make a difference in their communities by making sure students have the essential supplies they need to succeed."
