Beep Kickball Coming to Gwinnett Park

Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation is hosting the event on June 8. All are invited.

The Georgia Blind Sports Association and Gwinnett County are joining to provide a special event for children who are visually impaired.

The event, "Beep Kickball Play Day," will take place 9 a.m. - noon on Saturday at Shorty Howell Park in Duluth. Admission is free for all who want to participate, but officials ask that persons register for the event.

"Beep Kickball" is an adapted version of the classic game that uses a beeping foam kickball. Players kick the ball, and then run toward the sound of a buzzing base.
