A new website has launched to bridge the gap for Gwinnett County residents during the new coronavirus pandemic. Whether they need supplies or want to volunteer, GwinnettCares.org lists drop-off locations, relief funds and other resources.

The website, created by the Community Foundation of Northern Georgia, connects people with these four common needs:

  • Getting help with food, childcare and transportation
  • Donating food and supplies
  • Connecting volunteers with organizations
  • Giving money to local nonprofits and relief funds

The most critical needs are listed at the top of the website and will be updated in "real-time," according to the Community Foundation. Currently, the list includes specific canned goods and hygiene products.
