Gwinnett County Teachers Attend Coca-Cola's Educator Open House

The educators also received admission to the Georgia Aquarium.

The World of Coca-Cola and the Georgia Aquarium recently hosted Georgia teachers, including those from Gwinnett County, as they learned what fun and education offerings the attractions offer.

The "Educator Open House" was held Saturday, Sept. 7. educators from across the state received complimentary admission to learn more about the attractions’ educational features and field trip opportunities.

"Going back to school doesn’t have to mean that summer fun is over," said a spokeswoman for Coca-Cola.

Coca-Cola provided the attached photos and captions of several Gwinnett County teachers in attendance.

Georgia teachers can fulfill hundreds of Common Core Standards in areas like social studies and English/language arts with the World of Coca-Cola’s Teacher Toolkits, which are re-launching this fall to reflect national standards. The attraction also hosts hundreds of field trips a year, including more than 600 field trips in 2012.
