Gwinnett DA Names Employee Of The Month

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — A new member of the Gwinnett County District Attorney's Office has been named employee of the month, according to a post by the office.

Amina Bakari serves as the Gwinnett County Bar Association's treasurer, a committee co-chair at the Greater Atlanta Black Prosecutors' Association and volunteers at a moot court judge at the University of Georgia.

Since joining the DA's office in June 2019, Bakari "has made a seamless transition" into her role, the office said.

"She has demonstrated versatility and a commitment to obtaining justice for victims."

Bakari "represents the Gwinnett County District Attorney’s Office with the same intelligence and poise she brings to the courtroom," the office added.
