Gwinnett Schools Start in Two Weeks, Are You Ready?
Here are the top five things you need to know before classes start up again.
Summer is coming to an end. In just two weeks from today, kids will be boarding school buses once again and headed to school. Here are five things you need to know about the new school year:
1. The first day of school is Wednesday, August 7.
2. The last day of school is Wednesday, May 21, assuming there are no snow days to make up.
3. Elementary school students will pay $2.25 for lunch. Middle and high school students will pay a quarter more.
4. GCPS welcomed eight brand new principals over the summer.
5. Buses will conduct practice runs Wednesday, July 31 through Tuesday, August 6.
