Restaurant Inspector Finds Greasy Floors, Malfunctioning Coolers and More
Recent Peachtree Corners restaurant reports range from a near perfect score of 97-A to 82-B - find out if your favorite eatery is on the list.
Following is a list of five Peachtree Corners restaurants which have been inspected recently by the Gwinnett County's Board of Health.
The Board inspects area restaurants every six months which are then graded based on an extensive criteria that includes everything from food being stored at proper temperatures to employee hygiene.
Restaurants are required to display these reports in a prominent place for diners to view. This is what we found in a random search of inspections on the county's website.

Comments: Inspection report is located behind the counter in a location where customers can not walk up to it an read. Inspection report must be displayed within 15 ft of primary entrance in a location where customers can easily walk up to it and read it. Â New Violation. The sides of fryer, oven, and prep cooler have an accumulation of encrusted grease. Nonfood-contact surfaces need to be kept free of accumulations of grease and soil. Please clean thoroughly and more frequently. Â New Violation. The floor under fryers and behind fryers has an accumulation of grease and food debris. Floors need to be cleaned at a frequency to prevent this type of accumulation. Please clean thoroughly and much more frequently. Â New Violation.
