Arthritis & Total Joint Specialists Opens In Lawrenceville

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — Arthritis & Total Joint Specialists is expanding into Gwinnett County with its newest location in Lawrenceville. Dr. Robert Wood joins the medical practice’s team of orthopedic and joint replacement experts and began seeing patients at the new location in January.

Dr. Wood is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in hip, knee and ankle replacement for patients suffering from chronic joint pain and arthritis. He is extensively experienced in outpatient total joint replacement and uses the latest minimally invasive surgical techniques, including anterior hip replacement and partial knee replacement.

“I strive to make each of my patients an active participant in their care and make sure they understand their condition thoroughly,” said Dr. Wood, who personalizes care based on each patient’s individual needs with the goal of returning them to activity and restoring them quality of life.
