Driver Identified In Lawrenceville Fatal Crash: Police
Gwinnett County police said Jerry Brock, 36, of Lawrenceville died when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a fence and tree.
LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — The Gwinnett County Police Department has identified the driver killed in a single-car accident early Saturday morning. He is Jerry Brock, 36, of Lawrenceville.
According to police, Brock was was driving on McKendree Church Road when he lost control of his vehicle and left the roadway. After his vehicle veered off the highway, police said it struck a fence and then a tree.
Brock was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said they believe speed was a contributing factor in the crash.

Police said the collision is still being investigated and police are asking any witnesses to contact detectives.
