Gonzalez's name, it appears, is not a nickname. Gwinnett County jail records show Gonzalez has been booked under the name several times. Records do not specify a middle name.

Speedy Gonzales — spelled with an "s" — is the name of a Looney Tunes cartoon character from the 1950s and 60s. In some episodes, the mouse — known for his speed — is paired with his cousin, ‎Slowpoke Rodriguez‎.

Police ask anyone with information about Gonzalez's location to call GCPD detectives at 770-513-5300 or Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477. Crime Stoppers also accepts online tips at www.stopcrimeATL.com.

A cash reward may be available to tipsters with information leading to an arrest or indictment in this case.
