Gwinnett Punt, Pass and Kick Winners Named

Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation held the local Punt, Pass & Kick competition at Rhodes Jordan Park in Lawrenceville on July 23.

There were 107 kids that participated in the event, with the top finishers in each age group as follows:

Girls

6-7 years old, Pamela Zachery

10-11 years old, Dianne Friese

12-13 years old, Christina Haber

Boys

6–7 years old, Kameron Rayford

8–9 years old, Omar Zachery Jr.

10–11 years old, Scott Thompson

12–13 years old, Brendan Farrell

14–15 years old, Andre Watson

Punt, Pass & Kick is a free, nationwide competition that is run by the National Football League. Kids compete in their age group in local competitions and then the scores are submitted to the NFL. The highest score from the winner in each age group moves into the sectional competition and then onto the Team Championship held at the Georgia Dome. The top four kids in each age group will compete nationally to go to the Super Bowl.
