Gwinnett Animal Shelter Needs Old Newspapers, Other Donations

Anybody with unwanted old newspapers is asked to drop them off at the animal shelter where they'll go to good use.

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — The Gwinnett Animal Shelter is asking the public's help in what is a win-win situation. The shelter is running low on old newspapers and are asking anybody with extra to donate them.

"Your old newspaper helps us care for pets in need," the shelter's Facebook post says.

Anybody wishing to drop off newspapers can do so during normal business hours, and they'll be put to good use.
