Gwinnett Weather: A Stormy, Then Clearing, Work Week
Some early-week storms will give way to mostly sunny, and hot, weather later this week.

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA -- Those summertime thunderstorms aren't quite done with us yet.
But give it a few days, and forecasters say the skies will be clearing.
And, this may not come as a suprise: it's going to be hot. Temperatures every day this work week are predicted to get into the 90's.

Here's a look at this week's forecast for Gwinnett County, from the National Weather Service:
Monday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 91. Southwest wind around 5 mph. Monday night will bring a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 11 p.m. Partly cloudy, with a low around 73.

Tuesday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 4 p.m. Mostly sunny, with a high near 92. West wind around 5 mph. The 30 percent chance of rain continues Tuesday night, mostly before 8 p.m. Partly cloudy, with a low around 73.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 93. Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph in the morning. Partly cloudy Wednesday night with a low again around 73.
Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 93. Mostly cloudy Thursday night, with the low still hovering at 73.
Friday: Partly sunny, with a high near 92. Mostly cloudy Friday night. Low still around 73.
