High School Football Playoffs Scoreboard For Gwinnett County

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — It's the second round of the state high school football playoffs and, as usual, Gwinnett County has its fair share of teams still in the hunt for a title.

In the county's premiere matchup Friday night, Grayson will take on North Gwinnett in what promises to be an epic Class AAAAAAA tilt. Grayson enters the game ranked No. 3 in the state, while North is ranked seventh.

Both squads are 10-1.

Elsewhere in Class AAAAAAA, No. 8 Brookwood will host No. 10 Milton. Brookwood beat South Gwinnett 28-0 last week to advance.

Wesleyan will host Savannah's Calvary Day in a Class A matchup, Parkview takes on Mountain View, Dacula faces off with Allatoona and Buford takes on Maynard Jackson. Also, Archer and Mill Creek will play, as will Greater Atlanta Christian and Lovett.

That, folks, is an impressive number of teams to still be competing from one county.
