Lawrenceville's Week Ahead: August 5

What's happening around town this week? Here's what you need to know:

1. City Council will hold their monthly meeting Monday evening. It starts at 7:30pm at City Hall at 70 S. Clayton Street. Lawrenceville Patch will be live blogging from the meeting.
   
   
2. The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners will hold their monthly business meeting Tuesday at 2pm.
   
   
3. The kids go back to school Wednesday, August 7.
   
   
4. Tax Free Weekend is Friday, August 9 and Saturday, August 10. 
   
   
5. Monday is Work Like a Dog Day. But don't worry, Saturday is Lazy Day.
