Man Facing Animal Cruelty Charges After Kittens Thrown Out Window
A Lawrenceville man has been charged with animal cruelty after allegedly throwing kittens out of a moving vehicle.
LAWRENCEVILLE, GA – A Lawrenceville man has been charged with animal cruelty after allegedly throwing kittens out of a moving vehicle.
L. Mims, 32, has been charged with two counts of cruelty to animals following a two-month investigation, according to Sandy Springs Police.
In early July, Sandy Springs Police responded to Peachtree Dunwoody Road for a report that kittens had been thrown from a moving vehicle. Officer Housand located one kitten who was safe and unharmed.

While working the case, the officer decided to adopt the kitten. The kitten has since been named Holly.
