Missing Door Handle Could Be Key To Finding Burglar: Police
Surveillance images from burglaries in Lawrenceville and Suwanee reveal burglar's car has a missing a door handle, police say.
Lawrenceville & Suwanee, GA -- The Gwinnett Police Department Burglary Unit needs assistance from the public in identifying the suspect responsible for a series of commercial burglaries.
On February 8 and 19, five businesses were burglarized in unincorporated Suwanee and Lawrenceville. In all the cases, the man steals computer equipment.
The man appears is 20-30 years old. In one set of burglaries, he was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, T-shirt, and blue pants. In the other burglaries, he is wearing a heavy jacket with reflective material, blue jeans, and black gloves.

On the surveillance images from two of the thefts, a beige Toyota Camry is seen on camera. The rear passenger door on the driver’s side is missing a door handle.

A detective assigned to the cases believes that the same suspect is responsible for all these crimes based on the surveillance images and the items stolen. He is asking the public to view the images and call in with tips as to the identity of the suspect.
