LAWRENCEVILLE, GA - An overnight fire caused heavy damage to a vacant house on Watercrest Circle in unincorporated Lawrenceville.

Firefighters responded at 1:46 a.m. to a neighbor’s 911 call of a house fire, saying they could see flames coming from the home, according to fire officials.

Crews arrived to find heavy smoke and flames showing from the front-left corner and already
through the roof of a two-story, wood-frame house on a slab. Firefighters quickly deployed fire
attack hose lines and made immediate entry to battle the blaze and conduct a primary search.
