Napping Taco Bell Suspect Identified As Former Employee: Police
Police have identified a suspect in the strange burglary at a Lawrenceville Taco Bell where the man cooked some food and took a nap.

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — Police have identified a suspect in the strange Christmas Day burglary at a Lawrenceville Taco Bell where a burglar cooked some food and took a nap at the business.
Investigators say the burglar is Stephaun Gallaread, 26, who worked at the Lawrenceville restaurant during the summer of 2019.
Gallaread was identified after police released surveillance photos from the odd Christmas morning incident at the location on Sugarloaf Parkway near Cruse Road, according to police.

About 12:15 a.m. on Dec. 25, a man walked up to the restaurant and crawled through the drive-thru window. In surveillance video, he is seen using the fryers to make himself a meal and then eats. After that, he proceeds to take a nap on the restaurant floor.

About three hours later, the suspect stole a laptop and tablet before he leaves the business, police said. Gallaread has been charged with one count of second-degree burglary. He is not in custody, but is encouraged to turn himself in to the Gwinnett County Jail, police said.
