Summer Splash: Gwinnett Pools To Open This Weekend

Here's a list of Gwinnett County pools and aquatic centers set to open this weekend.

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — Summer is almost here, and a refreshing dip in the local pool is a great way to beat the heat. Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation is opening these pools at noon on Saturday. Each pool also will be open on Memorial Day, on Monday, May 28, from noon to 6 p.m.

  • Best Friend Park Pool, 6224 Jimmy Carter Blvd., Norcross
  • Dacula Park Pool, 205 Dacula Road, Dacula
  • Lenora Park Pool, 4315 Lenora Church Road, Snellville
  • Rhodes Jordan Park Pool, 100 E. Crogan St., Lawrenceville

These pools are closed this week for maintenance, but will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Memorial Day (Monday, May 28):

  • Bethesda Park Aquatic Center, 225 Bethesda Church Road, Lawrenceville
  • Bogan Park Aquatic Center, 2723 North Bogan Road, Buford

These pools are closed this week for maintenance, but will be open from noon to 6 p.m. on Memorial Day (Monday, May 28):

  • Mountain Park Aquatic Center, 1063 Rockbridge Road, Stone Mountain
  • West Gwinnett Park Aquatic Center, 4488 Peachtree Industrial Blvd., Berkeley Lake

The Collins Hill Park Aquatic Center, at 2200 Collins Hill Road, Lawrenceville, is closed for maintenance this week, but will be open from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Memorial Day.
