Two Lawrenceville Youth Win Regional Awards in Kohl's Scholarship Program
The two students were awarded $1,000 scholarships, and were honored for their commitment to volunteerism.

Two youth from Lawrenceville have been named regional winners in the Kohl's Cares Scholarship Program and are recipients of a $1,000 educational awards.
The honored youth are:
Wynter Bayne, 11: Wynter donates a hat or scarf to someone in need for every hat or scarf she sold through her business, Live.Laugh.LoveYarn!
Jeffrey Ojwang, 18: In fourth grade, Jeffrey started collecting toys, books, clothes, shoes and old computers and coordinated with his church to send these items to Kenya to help children in need.
The Kohl's scholarship program recognizes local youth for their commitment to community service. Gwinnett County had seven students who qualified to compete at the regional level.
