Saturday's forecast: The 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms continues. Mostly sunny and hot, with a high near 97. Heat index values as high as 100. Northwest wind around 5 mph. The chance of showers and thunderstorms bumps up to 30 percent Saturday night, mainly before 2 a.m. Partly cloudy, with a low around 73.

Sunday's forecast: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2 p.m. Mostly sunny, with a high near 89. East wind around 5 mph. A 30 percent chance of rain again Sunday night, with a low around 73.
