Woman Fatally Shot From Outside Lawrenceville Apartment

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA – A 30-year-old woman was found shot to death at a home in Lawrenceville Monday night, according to Gwinnett County Police.

Police were called to a home in the 100 block of Club Lakes Pkwy just before midnight on Monday, according to a release on the Gwinnett County website. When officers arrived, they found the woman had been shot at least once.

Investigators believe the woman was inside the apartment and an individual shot her from somewhere outside the apartment, police said. There were four people inside the apartment at the time, but there were no other injuries.

Police are currently investigating the incident as a homicide. The woman had not yet been identified.
