17-Year-Old Arrested In Bowling Alley Murder Case: Police
Gwinnett deputies arrested a 17-year-old Oct. 18 in connection to the murder of Rahmier Gardner, 20, at a Lilburn bowling alley in July.

LILBURN, GA – The Gwinnett County Sheriff's Fugitive Unit arrested a 17-year-old Oct. 18 in connection to the murder of Rahmier Gardner, 20, at a Lilburn bowling alley in July, according to the Sheriff's Office.
Estefania “Stephanie” Castro was found near a public bus stop on Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive less than 48 hours after deputies were provided warrants, the Sheriff's Office said. She was taken into custody without incident.
Gardner was shot multiple times July 29 at the Brunswick Zone bowling alley at 3835 Lawrenceville Highway in Lilburn.

Responding officer’s made attempts at medical intervention to save him but Gardner was pronounced dead by emergency medical personnel.

An investigation has found that Gardner was bowling with a group of friends when he stepped outside for an unknown reason.
"It's a great feeling when you can call the family of a murder victim and let them know that someone believed to be involved in the murder of their loved one is in handcuffs and headed to jail," a Sheriff's Office Facebook post reads. "We're glad that Lilburn PD had the opportunity to make that call today."
