SafetySmart Lilburn Hosts Dinner to Recognize Community Supporters

SafetySmart Lilburn, Inc. was founded in June 2010. At an Appreciation Dinner at Lilburn City Hall on April 13, more than fifty people came together to celebrate the three-year accomplishments of SafetySmart and express appreciation for those who have helped make this a viable organization in the greater Lilburn area.

Recognition of the Lilburn Police Department, Gwinnett Police Department, City of Lilburn and Downtown Development Association was followed by acknowledgement of financial donors (Eddie’s Automotive and Royal Will Law), general support (Diana Preston) and donation of specific skills (Mail & Package Center, Olde Town Flower Shop, Zutilla Veterinary Medicine and Ferris Photography).

The event would not have taken place without the financial support of State House Representative for House District 108, BJ Pak. Thanks to his generosity, a wonderful meal, prepared at Messina’s Mediterranean Dining by Demetrius and Iris Galfas provided gustatory enjoyment for all present: diners enjoyed a meal of seafood salad, bread and crackers, pork loin, and mixed greens with multiple toppings was followed by baklava and tiramisu.
