The Dekalb Gwinnett City Council of Beta Sigma Phi is a collection of 10 sorority chapters in the area. Beta Sigma Phi is an International sorority organization of a different kind. Chapters are community (not college) based and, once a member, you're likely to remain a member into your senior years. With membership in Beta Sigma Phi, you will make friends for a lifetime. The sorority is social but also focuses on cultural development and service in the community. This group supports a variety of service projects but the council currently focuses on four organizations: Hemophilia of Georgia, Ronald McDonald House, Stone Mountain Cooperative Ecumenical Ministry, and the Norcross Co-op Food Bank. Council donations are made throughout each year with food, drink tabs and monetary donations. This year they were able to make an additional special cash donation of $250 each of these organizations.
