Fatal Shooting Launches Manhunt For 4-5 Masked Men

Gwinnett County Police are looking for clues about an early Wednesday morning shooting by 4 to 5 masked men who could be armed.

LILBURN, GA — Gwinnett County Police are looking for clues about an early Wednesday morning shooting by 4 to 5 masked men who could be armed.

Shortly before 4 a.m. officers assigned to the South Precinct responded to a report of someone shot at the Homestay Suites at 4350 Stone Mountain Hwy in unincorporated Lilburn. Police say officers were on scene within four minutes of the call being dispatched where they located one man deceased in a hotel room. The victim’s identification is being withheld pending next of kin notification.

Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators are on scene collecting evidence and interviewing witnesses. The suspects are described as four to five men wearing all black with masks and believed to be armed. Police say their whereabouts are currently unknown.
