Funeral Arrangements Have Been Made for Doris Amanda Mitchell, 97
Doria Amanda Mitchell, of Lilburn, was a lifelong resident of Gwinnett County.

Doris Amanda Mitchell, age 97 of Lilburn, Ga., passed away January 8, 2013.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Horace Mitchell and is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Gloria Johnson and Brenda Reese and her husband, Hollis; grandchildren, Phil Johnson and his wife Terri, Mike Johnson and his wife Carol, Lisa Johnson, Marty Johnson, Mitch Reese and his wife Becky, Alison Reese Bythewood, Sherry Morris and her husband Tim; 17 great grandchildren, 12 great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and former son-in-law: Jimmy Johnson.
Mrs. Mitchell was a lifelong resident of Gwinnett County and a lifelong member of Corinth Baptist Church. Doris, a homemaker, loved to read the bible and was an active member of the Corinth Baptist Church choir and a former Sunday School teacher.

A funeral service celebrating the life of Doris Mitchell will be held Friday, Jan. 11 at 2 p.m. at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel with Rev. Don Richards officiating. Interment will be held at Corinth Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.Please omit any flowers and make donations to Corinth Baptist Church Building Fund, in memory of Doris Amanda Mitchell. Condolences may be viewed or sent to www.wagesfuneralhome.com.
