Local Kroger Store Opens Largest Fuel Center in the State of Georgia
Largest fuel center in the state of Georgia to open in Lilburn/Stone Mountain area.
Mountain Park area Kroger located at 1227 Rockbridge Rd, is opening a new fuel center. It is stated to be the largest fuel center in the state of Georgia. The new fuel center will have 20 pumping stations, which will more than double the capacity of customers compared to the existing fuel center. The new facility will be open August 30, 2017, with a Grand Opening to be held on September 6, 2017. There will be a ribbon cutting with Bruce Lucia, President Kroger Atlanta, Kyle Branch, Division Fuel Manager, and Jim Dixon, Manager, along with several vendors offering deals. Each customer will receive an additional 20 cent discount on each gallon of gas for the first 5 days following the Grand Opening!
This addition to our wonderful community is welcome, and we are lucky to have been chosen as the first, of what hopes to be many state of the art fuel centers that Kroger plans to open. Customers are as excited as the workers about the new edition to the neighborhood. They are ready to have plenty of spots to gas up, with little to no wait time. This project has been a long process, and all the hard work shows, as this is a beautiful facility that is sure to be a great service to our are for years to come!
Kroger has plans to take down the old fuel center, to allow for many much needed parking spaces. This will pay off for the customers, especially during holidays.
