A native of Portland, OR, she met her future husband, Eddie, there at a USO dance at the end of WWII. They married and she returned with him to Georgia where they would raise eight children together. She was the matriarch of the family and quite literally, the “glue” that kept her large family so close. With her family and in every aspect of her life, she was completely selfless. Her children and grandchildren were her world. She loved all of them unconditionally and spent her entire life sacrificing for their happiness. In addition to being the perfect wife, mother and grandmother, she was a savvy businesswoman. She enjoyed success in real estate by turning her humble savings into significant investments. She also enjoyed reading, discussing politics and philosophy, and traveling. Yet, her very favorite time was spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
Preceded in death by her husband, Eddie T. Bugg and son, Hal Bugg, she is survived by her beloved sister, Anne Parker of Del Mar, CA, her children - Michael T. Bugg and his wife, Ginnie of McDonough, David H. Bugg and his wife, Wilma of Lilburn, Steve Bugg of Lawrenceville, Kim Bugg of Tucker, Chris Bugg and his wife, Becky of Dacula, Kent Bugg of Pasadena, MD, and Lisa Holman and her husband, Henry of Mauk, GA, as well as twelve grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren.
