Motorcyclist Seriously Injured After Hit And Run, Vehicle Sought

Gwinnett Police need the public's help to find a 2009-2015 Honda Pilot ​SUV after the driver hit a motorcyclist and ran from the scene.

LILBURN, GA — The Gwinnett County Police Department need's the public's help to find a 2009-2015 Honda Pilot SUV after the driver hit a motorcyclist, causing serious injury, and ran, according to police.

On March 31 Gwinnett police officers responded to the area of Dickens Road at Pepperwood Trail in reference to a vehicle accident with injuries involving a motorcycle. Upon arrival, they found the motorcyclist had sustained serious and life threatening injuries and was unconscious. No other vehicles were located on scene. During the investigation, multiple pieces of a tail light and window glass were located near the motorcycle.

After analyzing the tail light, it was determined to be from a 2009-2015 Honda Pilot (unknown color). This Honda will be missing the driver side tail light and will have either a broken rear windshield or broken rear quarter window.

The lead detective assigned to this case needs the public’s help in locating the driver and his/her vehicle. It’s possible that a local mechanic may have had some interaction with the driver and/or vehicle. We urge anyone with information about this case to come forward.
