Partnering With Parents to Build a Love of Learning

Celebrate with the Strozier family, the December Family of the Month

The Stroziers have been a part of our Primrose family since the 2014 school year. Ric and Ashley are the proud parents of Knox in the Preschool 1 classroom. Knox has two older brothers, twins, Bryant and Douglas. The family also has a Bichon Frise, Chloe, a Yellow Lab, Chrissy, and the boys and Ric have a ball python.

The Stroziers love vacationing at the beach and their family lake house in Virginia. They try to go up to Virginia multiple times a year. Ashley has a lifetime of memories there, and it’s fun to see the family learn about the traditions of the lake house. They love anything outdoors! Before Knox came along, they enjoyed hiking Stone Mountain pretty regularly and can’t wait to get him to hike it too! Ric and the boys enjoy kayaking in various lakes and rivers, as well.
Family time together at parks, the Zoo Atlanta, Fernbank, and Stone Mountain is their favorite. They enjoy cheering on The Georgia Bulldogs and watching them play football. Ric and Ashley enjoy running, when time allows. The family also cheers on Bryant as he plays baseball in the community.
While still pregnant with Knox, they attended the wedding of Uncle Bryan and Aunt Megan (Ashley’s brother) at a beach in South Carolina. They enjoyed the wedding, but the vacation was suddenly cut short when Knox decided to make his arrival 6.5 weeks early. So, Knox wasn’t born in Georgia like planned; he was actually born in Charleston, South Carolina and “lived” there for 15 days. We are so glad that his early arrival didn’t keep him from joining us at Primrose!
The Strozier family shares their Primrose experience:
“Before Knox was born, we took a tour of Primrose and immediately knew we would send our future son to Primrose. Knox arrived early, so we had to make the decision to have a family member (Ashley’s mom) care for him for at least the first half year. After 6 months, we had to make the decision to keep him home for the rest of the year. Primrose worked with us to make sure Knox had a spot once he was well enough to attend daycare each day. When we called to say we were ready to send him, we were amazed that the staff remembered exactly who we were. From that moment on, we felt so comfortable with everyone at Primrose.
Every day we drop Knox off at Primrose we feel confident that he will be taught many new skills, will be safe, and loved by many. Everyone is friendly and makes us feel right “at home” at Primrose. The teachers, directors, and owner are dedicated to Knox’s well-being at all times. It is wonderful to know that our child will be cared for all day by various qualified staff members. We love Primrose!”
Congratulations to the Strozier Family!
