New Details Emerge About Skeletal Remains Found in Lawrenceville

Officials are releasing additional information in the search for the name of young woman, whose skeletal remains were found in a Lawrenceville neighborhood earlier this week.

Based on a medical examination, the remains are now believed to be that of a black woman between the ages of 19 and 22. In addition, investigators place her height at 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall, police said in a press release.

Police also are disclosing that the young woman was wearing a red jacket with the brand name "Smoke Rise." The jackets are considered urban wear, and can be worn in the winter. (See attached photo of a similar jacket.)

Police are treating the case as a "suspicious death."

On Aug. 5, residents near the 1400 block of Azalea Drive located the human remains. The remnants of a T-shirt, which appeared to be from a memorial event for Martin Luther King Jr. in 2008. (See attached photo of the back of the shirt.)

The shirt read:
