Experience the excitement of our Summer Adventure Club where imaginations are free to run wild. Get ready for engineering design challenges, discoveries, outdoor exploration and more.
It’s going to be one epic summer!
May 26-29 “X” Marks the Spot! - Explorers spend the week imagining what it would be like to explore a deserted island in search of jewels and hidden treasures!
June 1-5 Beyond the Backyard - Adventurers explore the great outdoors this week with trips to local parks, nature-themed craft projects, virtual vacations to National Parks, and perhaps even learning to set up camp!
June 8-12 The Science of Cooking - Delicious fun is in store as Explorers set off on adventures of the culinary kind this week learning about the science of cooking!
June 15-19 What Lies Beneath - Students discover the depths of the deep blue as they dive in to underwater fun. Explorers visit local aquariums, create virtual aquariums, and more in this unit!
June 22-26 Medieval Times - Kings, queens, knights, and castles, oh my! Explorers take virtual tours of castles, create their own coat of arms, design crown jewels, and explore what it would have been like to be king, queen, princess or perhaps a brave knight.
June 29-July 2 Quiet on the Set! - Explorers learn the process of film making and even try their hand at film production with movies of their own!
July 6-10 On Your Mark, Get Set, Go! - Beautiful weather makes summer the perfect time for active fun! Explorers play sports, meet team mascots, and more during this fun-filled and sporty week!
July 13-17 Inventions & Robotics - Explorers let their imaginations soar this week as they learn about inventions throughout history and even discover a few great invention idea of their own.
July 20-24 Midnight at the Museum - Students explore Egyptian Hieroglyphics, dinosaur skeletons, mementos from major events in history, etc. as they take trips to local museums and more!
July 27-31 Music Hall of Fame - Summer adventurers discover the world of music as they learn about some of the best-known and most influential musicians and bands of the eras. Who might be the next inductee to the Music Hall of Fame?
August 3-7 Scrapyard Crusades - Thomas Edison wrote, “To invent, you need a good imagination and a pile of junk.” We think Mr. Edison would be inspired by this brand new STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) summer adventure with some curriculum inspired by Engineering is Elementary® - Engineering Adventures? developed by the Museum of Science, Boston.**We challenge our children to see themselves as makers, creators and doers!
