Young Girls Help Adults Ripoff Walmart, Caught On Video

Four young girls were caught on video helping a man and woman steal car batteries from the Lawrenceville Walmart.

LILBURN, GA – Four young girls were caught on video helping a man and woman steal car batteries from the Walmart, located at 4004 Lawrenceville Highway, Thursday.

Approximately 45 car batteries were stolen from an exterior storage area at the store, according to the Lilburn Police. Upon reviewing store security cameras, it was discovered the theft occurred around 7:30 p.m. on July 4. The video showed a white minivan pulling up to the storage cage and a man, woman, and four teen girls exiting the van. The man breaks the lock off of the cage with a sledge hammer, assisted by the woman. The man, woman and young girls then loaded the car batteries into the rear of the minivan.

Lilburn Police Chief Bruce Hedley expressed his dismay at the situation on Facebook. “It is disheartening that children would be used in criminal activities such as this,” Chief Hedley said.
