Van Stolen From Calvary Baptist Church

A van used to take children to Sunday services was stolen the morning of June 16 from Calvary Baptist Church in Lilburn.

LILBURN, GA — A van belonging to Calvary Baptist Church was stolen early Sunday morning. The van was used by the church to transport children who don't have a ride to services, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

The four thieves were seen on surveillance video wearing hoodies while they broke into the van at 2:40 a.m., WSB-TV reported. It took them about 10 minutes to break into the van and drive away with it, according to the Lilburn Police Department.

"It’s just a reminder there is great need in our area and great opportunity, so we just want to continue to love our community well, the way Christ first loved us," pastor Brandon Dobson told WSB-TV.
