ICYMI: Selig Plans Downtown Decatur Development

DECATUR, GA -- Selig Enterprises, which is wrapping up renovation of Suburban Plaza just north of Decatur, has plans to begin developing property it owns in downtown Decatur, too.
The property is at the corner of Commerce Drive and Church Street, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Assistant City Manager Lyn Menne told the paper she anticipates some kind of mixed-use development, including ground-floor retail. She said she may receive plans for the property by late summer.

The 5.25 acres currently is a parking lot with two buildings to the south, including a DeKalb County probation office. It's east of the three Bank of America parking lots.
