Cobb Fire Is Hiring

Cobb County Fire and Emergency Services is looking for an entry-level firefighter, a position that comes with an annual salary of $38,355.20.

Candidates have until July 26 to complete an application, said Denell Boyd, the spokeswoman for the agency. 

Applicants must complete:

• a written test that will administered from Aug. 20-22;
• a physical ability test;
• an in-depth background investigation;
• a polygraph examination;
• a psychological examination;
• a medical examination; and
• a drug screening.
